Presentation
The "Let's talk terroir" collection is the result of strong partnerships with wineries in appellations where we do not own vineyards. L'Expression Haut-Médoc, for example, is produced hand-in-hand with the producer, with our teams supervising production from the vine to bottling. This wine reflects both the expertise of Vignobles André Lurton and the character of its terroir.
The vintage
The 2017 vintage was one of the earliest on record. The growing season was marked by a dry winter and spring (46% less rainfall than usual), accompanied by temperatures 2°C above average (except for the frost in April). This dry summer weather was ideal for ripening the seeds until late August.

Tasting
A brilliant ruby-red colour with purple highlights.
The complex nose of this Haut-Médoc is a symphony of ripe fruit, with intense aromas of blackcurrant and blackberry blending harmoniously with elegant floral notes of violet and peony. This delicate combination is enhanced by a subtle hint of spice and black pepper, adding depth to the olfactory ensemble.
On the palate, this wine has a balanced structure that is both present and delicate. Vinification in barrels has allowed us to preserve the purity of the aromas and express all the complexity of the appellation's terroir. This Haut-Médoc has now reached a fine degree of maturity that gives it perfect harmony. Ready to drink, it offers immediate pleasure and lingers on the palate for many minutes. It is a wine of emotion and delicacy, ideal for connoisseurs in search of finesse and complexity.
Food pairings
