Presentation
In former times, in Bordeaux, a courrège referred to those narrow vineyard plots that shaped the landscape and carried within them the very soul of the region’s winemaking tradition. Born from a 100% family-owned vineyard cultivated with passion for five generations, this exceptional wine is the result of a meticulous selection of the finest plots from Château Tour de Bonnet. It embodies today the excellence of the Entre-Deux-Mers terroir.
It reveals a subtle balance between aromatic richness and tannic finesse. Its intense nose of ripe black fruits, enhanced by notes of amaretto cherry and a delicate touch of cedarwood, captivates the senses. A well-balanced, powerful and distinguished wine — true to its terroir.
The vintage
2023 was marked by a uniform start to vegetation: bud-break dates returned to normal, foliage developed rapidly and the bunches emerged beautifully. Heavy rainfall in the spring tarnished the start of the season somewhat, with mildew appearing in places. There was no hot summer in 2023, but relatively cool nights and warm but not excessively hot days in July and August created ideal ripening conditions for the grapes, which produced remarkable aromatic potential.
