The vintage
Spring was very trying, with considerable rainfall leading to fungal diseases of all sorts. This called for very close attention in the vines until the 14th of July, when the weather changed durably for the better.

Advice
Tasting
Very brilliant with green highlights. The clay-limestone soil is conducive to slow, even ripening and retaining intense fruity aromas. 2012 Heritage has a great deal of these. Floral and citrus flavours coat the palate. These go into a long aftertaste that is enhanced by the wine's freshness, roundness and balance. This is a ideal match for seafood platters or goat's cheese.
